This curious little gem, the only museum dedicated to the history of dentistry in Canada, tells the fascinating story of the evolution of dental science over the last 300 years. A tour takes you on a journey of human ingeniosity, through inventions that revolutionized the field of dentistry.

The collection of over 1,000 items and books includes instruments, tools, equipment, and even some real human bones. Some of the highlights on display are an early example of a general anesthesia mask, a terrifyingly rudimentary drill, a recreation of an 1867 dental office, and an X-ray machine from 1920.

The Musée Eudore Dubeau was founded as a teaching museum in 1978, but the collection continued to grow and was eventually opened to the public. It is named after the first dean of the dentistry department at the Université de Montréal.
