Sylva Florence
Sylva Florence has a journalism degree from James Madison University that she has put to good use over a decade of freelance editing and contributing. She has edited everything from emails to theses and published pieces in BACK COUNTRY MAGAZINE, OSSIGENO and BRASS MAGAZINE. After moving to Italy in 2018, she also became an English as a second language teacher and translator (Italian-English). She will start work shortly as a copywriter and translator for the Berlin-based international digital marketing company Datawords Group.
Florence also loves public speaking. Upon her return from a solo, 4,000+ bike trip across America, she spoke at local Rotary Clubs and has been interviewed by the following podcasts:
Live on Purpose Radio, Murphology Podcast, NPR's StoryCorps interview, The Best Advice Show, The Spokesmen Cycling Podcast and The Loud Women's Club.
